Roman Amphitheater in Cagliari before our flight... AND we booked a cooking class enroute in Barcelona (tapas, paella, etc.) - yeay!
View of the marina from our hotel room
Anfiteatro Roman di Cagliari
Airport library. We had a couple hours to spare waiting for the flight and we wanted to know more about the cultural groups/costumes of each region of Sardinia. Jane also found this cook book - so we got inspired right to sign up for a cooking class in Barcelona. :)
Vueling flight. View over Cagliari's nearby beaches
We arrived in Barcelona! It's so great to be back at the Sagrada! We spent the entire evening planted at the rooftop bar of the Sercotel, comparing photos of the Sagrada from previous trip blogs. We could not get over how much progress there's been. The ENTIRE middle section is new. Completely floored us. I think we sat there for hours just looking at it, soaking it in.
View when you step out of the metro. Like a sucker punch.
View from our room!
Rooftop bar with quite a view!
Comparing photos from previous trips/blogs :)
Sangria!
View from back at our room! We spent hours on the roof. Couldn't stop looking. Incredible.
There's something quite amazing about the Sagrada.
